"Say cheese" *SNAP*
Our customers value visibility and professionalism. They rely on our service to feel included and informed throughout the delivery process. Following proper procedures grants us more volume into our platform.
Follow these instructions below to ensure when submitting a Proof of Delivery (POD) you're representing yourself, WARP and the rest of the carriers in our network as professionals.
POD at Pickup:
- Ensure the shipment is loaded securely in your vehicle, or take a photo of the shipment still in the warehouse/store on the pallet or push cart. If applicable, include any assigned paperwork attached to the shipment.
- Do not take photos of the shipment on the floor or flipped upside down.
-
Snap a photo of the signed BOL as well.
- For Parcel loads, working with our local retail customers, a signed BOL will not be required.
POD at Delivery:
- Snap a photo of the unloaded shipment stored in the warehouse or drop-off location. Make sure to include any paperwork attached in your photo.
- Include a photo of the signed BOL at drop-off.
For Parcel Routes
- If this is a Parcel route, place the item right side up near the customer's front door.
- Capture a clear photo of the item alongside the house/door number in one shot.
- You will not need a signed BOL at drop-off.
What happens if I don't take a proper POD?
Not taking proper PODs may result in losing access to our platform. Take a moment to ensure you have captured the necessary information and provide a pleasant experience for the customer.
What if the recipient comes to grab the delivery before I capture the POD:
Politely ask the recipient for permission to take a photo of the shipment to complete the delivery in your app.
Questions to ask yourself when taking a POD:
- Does this POD represent my business well (clean, professional & secured)
- Can I read the BOL off this photo easily?
- Does this POD capture essential information to inform where the item was left in one single photo? (House/Door number, items delivered)
- Is the picture clear and are the house/door numbers legible?
